Celebrating 70 Years

WWA Youth Activites & Events:
The Washington Waterfowl Association encourages the participation of youth in our activities to help them understand the importance of habitat preservation. Our family friendly work parties include waterfowl banding, building nest boxes and tracking waterfowl migratory routes across the country.

Our youth activities also include: Donating time to the Boy Scouts of America on Eagle Scout projects, teaching youth decoy carving and painting art, donating funds for youth gun safety, target shooting and hunter education classes, hosting youth shotgun shooting events, working with children at the Puyallup and Evergreen Sportsman's Shows, donating time to the seriously ill youngsters at Camp Good Times working on decoy projects, sending boys and girls to Conservation Camp each summer, conducting Field Days for Kids at metropolitan parks, and arranging for youth whose parents are not hunters to join us in the field.
