This is a great way to kickoff  the summer.  I've gone to the last 2 events and really had a good time.

It's an easy way to get familiar with the Potholes, meet some nice people, the food is top notch, and you can learn a lot about mudboats.  You don't have to have a mudboat to attend.  All the guys are happy to give you a demo ride.

The bass fishing will be good, and last year we went bowhunting for carp.

Timon puts on a fun poker run with a bunch of nice prizes on Saturday.  All proceeds will be given to the WWA.

    See you there...............Gibby

We have changed the registration and camping area to Blythe boat launch here is a link to the Google maps page for a little more  information.

Camp out for a fun weekend at the Potholes Reservoir in Washington June 8, 9, and 10th 2012.

Friday the 8Th set up camp and hit the dunes for a fun run, bass fishing and Blaze Backwater hosted chicken BBQ!

The Poker Run event is on Saturday June 9Th.  Registration begins at the Blythe boat launch at 10:30 AM on Saturday and the poker run starts at 12 PM with BBQ to follow.

The $30 registration fee includes one hand for poker run, BBQ lunch and a soda, additional hands are $20. Proceeds to benefit Washington Waterfowlers Association.

*If not participating in the poker run, lunch can be purchased $10 for adults and $5 for kids

Tent and RV campers are all welcome at the Blythe camp site/boat launch!!   It is a little rocky here but a great location on the water and accessible for everyone.  There are two toilets at the location, no running water or electricity.   If needed, there are facilities a short drive away.  There are other camping locations close by in the Dunes, at MarDon Resort and at the State Park.  We are expecting a huge turnout this year!

For launch, and camping a vehicle access pass or Washington Discovery pass is required ($35). You can buy a discovery pass for Washington at the state park, MarDon resort office, on line. http://wdfw.wa.gov/licensing/discoverpass/ or anywhere Washington hunting and fishing license are sold. The state no longer sells vehicle use permits alone, but when you buy your annual Washington hunting and or fishing license you will be issued a vehicle use permit. Camping and launching at this site are free with either permit.

We have one extra vehicle access pass for someone out of town, just let me know(first come first serve).

Tips/Recommendations:GPS, Sunscreen, bug spray, life jackets, sunglasses, fishing gear, camping gear, extra gas, water, beverage of choice, spending cash J

Any questions at all please feel free to email or call me on my cell phone.
