Folks, just a reminder it is that time of year when DU groups will be hosting banquets in and around the areas.  This is a great way to get involved for the future of our pastime.

I am involved with the Edmonds chapter and would like to mention our banquet is on April 24.

DU should be mailing out invitations to members based on zip code, so please respond and attend.  If you have never been to a banquet, they are quite fun.

Reb, sorry for the late reply.

If one is a member of DU, invitations go out based on zip code.

Otherwise go to www.ducks.org and look or "events"   My website automatically listed Washington.

Events are open to the public.  Our event in Edmonds was a nice success and we had quite a few folks walk up and register the night of the event.   I've been in DU for several years now and the banquets are really fun.   Good food, a few beers and fun at the auction to raise money for DU.

Lots of folks think DU is all about the hunter, but its all about conservation, wetlands and the waterfowl.  OF COURSE, that ultimately benefits hunters.

Anyway, I do know there are more events in the Seattle area in the next couple of months.
Thanks for asking… Good luck at finding a local chapter.  HAVE FUN!!

    Peace.

    Mike
