WWA is again sponsoring this years Youth Hunt.  We will have a  Raffle and prizes for the kids and Provide a free BBQ lunch to all.

This years applications need to be received at the Refuge Office by Oct 12th.  This gives you the best chance to get a good blind.  Adults  may pay their fee get their gun, and then hunt with their Youth after 12 pm if they wish to finish out the day

After that , the hunting will be open to the regular public for any blinds Available.

This date should be a good one for the kids with lots of Ducks around. The opener is Sat the 17 and then the Refuge will be hunted again on Tuesday.  Then the season closes for a few days.  So this will be the third day that the Refuge will have been hunted with a three day rest.
